care and clinical excellence drives the Rehabilitation Center of
San Joaquin General Hospital. We provide comprehensive,
personalized rehabilitation programs to individuals who have
experienced disabling illness or injury.
Programs
are designed with an interdisciplinary team approach tailored to
individual needs, providing physical, psychological, social and
vocational support and training.
The
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department combines
compassion, technology and unparalleled training by physical and
occupational therapists, speech and audiology services, along
with medical and rehabilitative nursing care.
While
in the Rehab Center, patients and their families interact with
other vital support services, including social services and
mental health professionals.
Inpatient
services
Patients
with acute medical complications benefit from the comprehensive
rehabilitation program. The rehab center is a 18 bed unit under
the medical direction of Junlong Ren, M.D. and has 24 hour acute
rehab nursing. Rehabilitation is provided
by specialists devoted to assisting patients in reaching their
optimal levels of mobility, independence and happiness. |
